The Government has given special importance to the sector for the creation of digital Bangladesh for implementing the vision of the present Honorable Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, ensuring technical assistance in the comprehensive application and use of information and communication technology at district, upazila and union level; Accessing the benefits of information and communication technology to the grassroots level, provision of infrastructure security; Maintenance; Implementation; On 6 July, the 'Directorate of Information and Communication Technology' was formed to ensure the delivery of e-services in remote areas of the country through the expansion of quality control and the efficiency of computer professionals.

Effective Purpose:

Functions:
